JBT Glass

2020 sees the launch of JBT Glass and is set to be an exciting year for us, with the opening of our wonderful new studio based in Leeds.  The studio has a teaching area from which workshops will be run along with a small gallery where customers are welcome to come along and browse our collection of beautiful glass goodies!  (Studio opening from 1st July and visits will be arrange by appointment only please email info@jbtglass.co.uk).

Jewellery By Trudy Ltd still remains as the parent company and our commitment to quality is still firmly in place.

To give a little background Jewellery By Trudy was launched back in 2007 since then the business has continued to develop and evolve. In 2017 our daughter, Gemma, joined the company and the nature of our work continued to evolve to a point where a change of name to JBT Glass became essential as it more accurately reflects the nature of our products which are no longer solely jewellery.

Attention to detail is paramount, for example the fused glass landscape pendants take weeks to create with layers of glass being added and kiln fused to build up a landscape that draws the admirer into the scene.

All the materials we use are carefully sourced to ensure you receive a top quality product. Sustainability is something we strive to build into the way we work ensuring no glass is wasted. There is no such thing as scrap glass, we convert all ours into frit (small gravel like pieces of glass), stringers or cane which are then used in our artwork. All packaging materials are also recycled wherever possible.
