Felted Art Workshop- 3 options to choose from!

 

 

 

Create your own Sunflower

Create your own stunning sunflower to take home and keep forever. This sunflower will never fade.
Made from beautiful soft and durable merino wool fabric, you will learn needle felting techniques to make your own felted flower. Your finished flower will then be attached to a metal pole, making it ideal for your home or garden.
The flower will measure 30cm high and look wonderful in a vase in your home.
This workshop is suitable for adults and children aged 10+ years of age.
All materials and tuition are included.

Create your own Autumnal Felted Wreath

Using beautiful natural materials and felted foliage you can design and make your own unique Autumnal Wreath – suitable for indoors and outdoors. The materials you will use, are suitable for your garden.

Learn how to needle felt your own leaves and decorations.

Construct your wreath using your own felted pieces and a range of other seasonal materials.

This workshop is suitable for adults and children aged 10+ years of age.
All materials and tuition are included.

Create your 2 or 3 Felt Pumpkins

Create some beautiful seasonal felted pumpkins. Perfect for decorating your home during Halloween. The cute little pumpkins can be used year after year.

Learn the brilliant craft of needle felting to design your own unique Halloween Vegetables. Or are they fruit?

This workshop is suitable for adults and children aged 10+ years of age.
All materials and tuition are included.

Katy Small is your tutor for the workshop. She is a felt artist, maker and teacher who exhibits mainly in Yorkshire. You can find her at many Art fairs and festivals. Katy was a secondary school teacher for 24 years before taking the plunge to set up her own art and craft business. She hosts workshops all over Yorkshire and beyond. Teaching adults and children alike, in groups and families. She is a member of Artists Around Wetherby and the International Feltmaker’s Association.

 

When and where are the workshops:

As part of the Yorkshire Halloween Festival, these workshops will take place on Parliament Street in the heart of York, within the “Artists Around Wetherby” pop-up marquee.  The workshops will take place on the following dates/times:
