Stained Glass Scrappy Bird Decoration & Tulip Decoration
Choosing to make a Stained Glass Scrappy Bird?
In Janet’s 1 hour workshop you will choose a prepared body and beak from a wide selection of interesting shapes and colours. She then will teach you how to copper foil and solder and attach a prepared wire crown and legs onto the bird. This creates your own unique scrappy bird!
These stained glass workshops create an opportunity to experience a craft that is often inaccessible to most, due to the expensive equipment needed to start this hobby.
Workshops seat up to 6 people age limit 13yrs old and up.
All materials are included.
When and where are the workshops:
As part of the Yorkshire Craft Festival, these workshops will take place on Parliament Street in the heart of York, within the “Stained Glass” pop-up marquee. The workshops will take place on the following dates/times:
Tuesday 7th April at 10am, 11.30am & 3.30pm
Wednesday 8th April at 10am, 11.30am & 3.30pm
Thursday 9th April at 10am, 11.30am & 3.30pm
Friday 10th April at 10am, 11.30am & 3.30pm

The stained glass workshop will last approx. 1 hour

Choosing to make a Stained Glass Tulip Decoration?
In Janet’s one and a half hour workshop you will choose a prepared Tulip and leaves from a selection of colours. She will teach you how to copper foil and solder and attach the tulip and leaves to a wire so you can then take it home and put it into a in-door plant pot. This tulip is NOT suitable for outside.
