Autumn Paper Collage Workshop
As the leaves begin to change and the air turns crisp, join in an enchanting Autumnal Paper Collage Workshop.
This one-hour session offers the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of paper collage, whether you’re a seasoned artist or a curious beginner. Gather your creative spirit and embark on a journey through the colours and textures of nature, celebrating the season’s changing hues and textures.
The tutor, Lauri Bower, will guide you through the art of paper collage, a technique simply using paper, scissors, and glue. Lauri has been playing with paper for many years and can be found at local Artisan fairs and markets as well as Artists Around Wetherby Open Studios.
She also teaches mindfulness courses, and incorporates the aspects of calm, attentive focus into her creative work.
Lauri will provide autumnal inspiration to create from as well as all the papers and materials needed for this workshop.
This workshop is open to all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re eager to try something new or seeking a fresh perspective, everyone is welcome.
(Children over age 7 are welcome if accompanied by an adult).

As part of the Yorkshire Halloween Festival, these workshops will take place on Parliament Street in the heart of York, within the “Artists Around Wetherby” pop-up marquee. The workshops will take place on the following dates/times:

The autumn paper collage workshop will last approx. 1 hour.
Costs:
The autumn paper collage workshop is £22.
At the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with your own unique paper collage, ready to adorn your space or share as a heartfelt gift. You will also hopefully leave with a sense of peace and calm, having given yourself the opportunity to play.
Capacity:
The autumn paper collage workshop is suitable for 6 people at a time.
