Pot Throwing Workshop-The Yorkshire Halloween Festival

Description

Throw your own pot on the potter’s wheel (this is a basic have a go on the wheel creating a masterpiece and getting this fired.) Your piece will be taken away to be fired to be collected at a later date. 

When and where are the workshops:

As part of the Yorkshire Halloween Festival, the workshops will take place daily between 23rd – 26th October in the “Pottery pop up marquee” outside M&S on Parliament Street in the heart of York.  The workshops will start at 10am each morning.  The workshops will take place on the hour and on the half hour until 4.30pm daily (closed for lunch between 12-12.30)

Duration:

The pot throwing workshop will last approx. 20 minutes.  Your piece will be taken away to be fired after. The fired piece will be available for collection at a later event (or can be posted, subject to a postage charge-arranged on the day).

Costs:

Pot throwing is £12 per workshop , the pot will be unglazed (You may have the pot glazed-this is an extra £5 per pot which can be paid for on the day should you choose this option).

Capacity:

The pot throwing workshop is suitable for 2 people at a time.
